Kazimir Severinovich Malevich was born near Kiev on February 26, 1878. He studied at the Moscow Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1903.
In 1913, Malevich created abstract geometric patterns in a manner he called Suprematism, a term that expressed the idea that color, line, and form in art should take precedence over the object or narrative.
These Artsocks inspired by Malevich’s painting "Peasant in the Fields" show a lonely man with a sad facial expression on a blue background. Life is like the different seasons. We are happy and the sun is shining. Then things happen that make us sad and there is a thunderstorm. But we must not forget that behind grey clouds there is always a blue sky. We only have to fly high enough to see it.
