Joaquin Torres Garcia is a national hero in Uruguay and was an innovator of art. All his creations are the result of Joaquin Torres Garcia's dissatisfaction. None of the avant-garde of the twentieth century fully convinced him. So he set about creating his own way of pictorially representing the world.
These Artsocks inspired by Torres-Garcia’s painting show several different motives from Indo-American culture. In this colorful pattern, the yellow color and the shining sun in particular stand out. Just like these socks try to keep your feet warm, try to warm your soul by laughing more often. Remember, your smile is the balm for your soul.
